About Us

Our history
Puchong Specialist Clinic started up as a women and child health clinic in September 2002 at Jalan Kenari 1, Bandar Puchong Jaya by Dr Wong May Foong as the paediatrician and Dr Tan Boon Khim as the obstetrician . Obstetrical services were purely on an outpatient basis as deliveries were conducted in the ideal setup of premium hospitals at Sunway Medical Centre and Selangor Medical Centre (now known as KPJ Medical Centre, Shah Alam).

Two years later, specialists Drs Hew Fen Lee, Yeap Swan Sim, Tan Soon Seng and Peter Ng joined the fraternity to set up an out-of-hospital practice to cater to the needs of patients who had found hospital appointments and/or follow-ups consuming in time and costs.  Over time the need for a better location and space was highlighted and the new clinic was set up in the neighbouring business area which was better placed for space and parking availability.

There was new emphasis on providing more services to the community.  A new focus on osteoporosis was conceived with radiological service including X-ray and bone mineral densitometer at the same, making PMSC a one-stop centre for patients to receive the assessment, diagnosis and treatment by specialists who are well known in this field of expertise.  Future expansion on services will offer more such as scopes for gastroenterology and for men’s health including uroscopies.
